All boxes are oriented right side up without flipping them over or placing them in special holders, which prevents potential spills, lost cards and unproductive time. A typical box of 500 cards can be scanned in two seconds. The system will count embossed or non-embossed cards in virtually any size or type of box, without any operator adjustments and without removing shrink wrap. The standard configuration also supports chip, optical, laser, magnetic stripe, and printed or blank cards. The flexibility of the design permits counting cards oriented horizontally, or as an option, vertically. The configuration allows for non-standard sizes of cards to be counted. Handfuls of cards may also be counted with the same speed and accuracy. Simple push-button controls facilitate the system's ease of use. The standard RS232 serial port printer, audit trail option, produces permanent hard copy of all scan counts, accumulated totals, and date/time stamps.
